$350 + $50 + 100 Big Stack Black Chip Bounty NLH
After 17 hours, Event 21 is in the books and your champion is 28 year old Accountant, Finian Anuforo (Queens, NY). He just won all 5,100,000 chips and will take home $31,161 out of the $119,000 total buy-in.
This event provided a great opportunity for anyone who busted out of Day 2 BPO Championship and still wanted to play some poker and win some cash. And it was a $100 Black Chip Bounty so for every player you busted, you got their $100 chip.
Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler was one of those players. He got off to an early start and held the chip lead from time to time. Kessler finished as the final table bubble in 11th place for $1,501. He also collected 9 bounties.
Patricia Barsanti-Chou, Steve Dannenmann, Adam Cook, and David Inselberg, also jumped over once bounced out of the Championship Event.
Mike Sica and Eric Siegel played in Event 21 as well.
Top 36 made the money and three players busted almost at the same time during hand for hand action.
Your final table of ten included, Robby Devries, Scott Shoyer, Christopher Guth, Ed Cotter, Chris Defforey, Frank Walden, Greg Kolo, Joseph Fox, Finian Anuforo, and David Oliver.
At 4am there were only five players remaining. At 5am it was all over.
3rd place in the amount of $10,735 was awarded to Chris Defforey while 2nd place prize of $17,314 went to 25 year old poker pro from Ottawa Canada, David Oliver. Oliver had the most bounties with 12 knockouts total.
But once again your big winner was Finian Anuforo who just took down the first Borgata tournament he's ever played in. Beginner's luck proved true today (even though Anuforo has been playing poker for five years). 8 bounties added to Finian's haul of a whopping $31,161.
Way to go and congratulations again!
