$1,000 + $90 No Limit Hold'em
Event #6 kicked off the first 5-figure buy-in of Borgata's Poker Open series. Notable poker pros and WSOP bracelet winners all showed up for the first premier event.
With 219 hopefuls vying for the first place prize, the likes of Jason Young, Mike "Little Man" Sica, Adam "Lippy" Lippert, Vinny Pahuja, Cornell Cimpan and Victor Ramdin rounded out the field.
Helen Ellis (Manhattan, NY) earns the title of last woman standing, but it was Tommy Lee who earned the title of Borgata Champion.
Lee played loose-aggressive for the majority of Day 2, "he never took his foot off the gas pedal," said one of his tablemates.
Lee's fast-paced style served him well, he walked away with $59,477 and the Borgata trophy.
