Greg Merritt Extremely Short StackedGreg Merritt (New York, NY) had eights full of sevens so he shoved all his chips in. Opponent called and proceeded to river a queen giving him Queens full and the pot.
Merritt thought he was out the door until everyone realized when he pushed his chips in, he accidentally left one tiny, insignificant 25 green chip behind. Since Opponent just called, Greg remained in the tournament.
He took that one 25 chip and re-built to 14,000 through a series of double and triple-ups.
"I just don't want to bubble again like I did last year" said Merritt who got nothing for coming in one player short of the cash in last years 2010 Borgata Championship.
