Baldy Bounty Hunting at Borgata

Brian Baldinger Guest Post:

Baldy's Prize Possession

Today I aided participants from around the globe in preparation for the WPT Borgata Poker Open. It was also the second day that I ever played poker.

The last time was four months ago here at the fabulous Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. In that tournament I was bounced in less time that it took me to drain two beers.

Today I demonstrated skill, real poker skill. I got a bounty chip, $100 in CASINO MONEY, in the first 30 minutes when I held two aces and a third one was on the board. They tell me it's called a "set," and the best one at that, how could I lose?!?!?

After my new best friend from Charlotte walked out so, so defeated, I felt invincible and I showed the table no mercy. What a rush, what a scene!

Eventually I was bounced myself for being cocky and fool hearted, but gradually I am getting sucked into the competitive world of Texas Hold 'Em.

I will be back soon for yet another tournament and guarantee improvement and many more bounties. To my new friends at lucky table 7, I wish you a lot of luck.

Borgata is world class. What a room, what a tournament, what a memorable evening!
