Ted Kaplun (Philadelphia, PA) was just announced as the bubble which lead the remaining 100 players to applaud and celebrate and head out for a break.
I tracked Ted down in the lobby. He was shook-up a bit but was nice enough to provide details.
A players he's had a read on all day opened for 40,000.
Ted 3-beat to 100,000 and Opponent jammed. He had Ted covered by only a couple thousand chips.
Ted calls and tables A-K offsuit. Opponent shows A-K of spades.
Turn and river comes runner, runner spade-spade for the unlikely flush and the bubble bursting busto.
